
Nora Svihl, DMD MAGD
Dr. Nora Svihl was awarded a full undergraduate scholarship and earned her degree in Biology with Honors at UNLV in 2003 then graduated from their dental program in 2007. She did her residency in hospital dentistry at UCLA thereafter and was a professor at UCLA’s Graduate Maxillofacial Prosthodontics while owning her private practice until moving to North Idaho.Dr. Svihl also ran a non-profit organization in conjunction with her local church to provide free dental care to those in recovery. She traveled to South America four times with medical and dental professionals at UCLA to provide care as well as to Central America and Ethiopia, as well as providing charitable dentistry for disabled veterans and migrant communities here in Idaho.Dr. Svihl has attended over 6,000 hours of advanced post-graduate education at institutions such as Spear, the Seattle Study Club and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and is a recognized fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Svihl will soon be awarded her Mastership award, a distinction given to less than 1% of dentists nationwide. She strives to deliver compassionate, quality dentistry that combines the best of cutting-edge evidence based research and technology, naturopathic medicine, nutrition and a healthy airway to create beautiful, long-lasting smiles.

Using dental photography and a conservative approach, Dr. Svihl is passionate about the art and science of dentistry and looks forward to providing the best care possible for patients. She is married and loves studying the Bible in her free time.
